We have demonstrated a more accessible, non-invasive transcranial focused ultrasound pain treatment strategy for senior subjects. This approach involves simultaneously targeting multiple pain-processing circuits using a battery-powered, compact, and low-cost ultrasound analog front end.The dataset includes 2 .mat files with formatted transcranial focused ultrasound pressure scanned through hydrophone in the free water and presence of a freshly excised mouse skull sample (3-dimensional variable: <b>Intensity_locations</b>). Each file name is labeled with the scanning scenarios, i.e., free water vs. mouse skull along with custom-built and battery-operated ultrasound analog front end. The spatial step sizes of the 3D matrix (<b>Intensity_locations</b>) are included in each of these files (variables: step for x and y dimensions, slice for z dimension, physical unit: mm). The pulse duration (PD) is 200 micro-second, and center frequency of the transducer is 500 kHz. The variables <b>xaxis_locations, yaxis_locations, </b>and<b> zaxis_locations</b> described the total step/slice numbers along those three directions.This work was supported in part by NIH EB029354, NS124564, NS131069, and HL147562.
