Work, lifestyle and health, 1987

The study aims to identify the situation of young people aged 19-22 years in 1987, with special emphasis on the relationship between work / unemployment and substance abuse. It will provide knowledge about substance abuse and the development of a youth group that is susceptible. The survey will provide information on the development of a possible hidden abuse in adolescents who have not yet come in contact with the treatment system. Such a survey would provide opportunities for developing preventive strategies.

The study is a continuation of the earlier study "Youth Survey - 1985", panel survey in 1987 was initiated by the Department of Behavioural Medicine and the Directorate of Labour (NAV today).
