Data and code for the study of personality in Oophaga pumilio

This repository contains the datasets and R scripts supporting the study “Consistent individual differences in behavior of the strawberry poison frog (Oophaga pumilio)”. The study examines consistent individual differences in behavioral responses of male strawberry poison frogs (Oophaga pumilio) at Hitoy-Cerere Biological Reserve, Limón, Costa Rica. Fieldwork was conducted in July 2016 and included 15 adult males, with a total of 119 repeated behavioral observations. The repository includes the original dataset, processed data files, and R scripts used for data preparation, statistical analyses, and the assessment of behavioral repeatability and individual differences. The files are organized to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the data and analytical procedures. Further details on file structure, variable definitions, and instructions for reproducing the analyses are provided in the README file.
