Diploid and triploid blue mussels characterized as slow or fast growers were exposed to an incremental temperature increase from 18 to 26 degrees Celsius. Gill tissues were sampled from mussels at the start and end of the experiment to compare how ploidy and growth phenotype affect transcriptional responses at different temperatures.
