This register records the names, date of commencement and date of cessation of employees within the Department. The format of the record is a volume with inserts. Employees' names are recorded as initials and surname; given names are not recorded. The employees are listed under the Division and District where they were employed. The register records only the names of people employed in the regions. Staff employed at Head Office are recorded elsewhere.The Divisions were as follows:CentralEasternNorthernNorth EasternSouthernSouth WesternWesternThe earliest recorded commencement date is 1908. The latest recorded cessation date is 1983.
