Landcover classification and modelling

The dataset contains: EPSG:2157 - IRENET95 / Irish Transverse Mercator Projected Sentinel 2A satellite images from summer 2020, 2022, and 2024 for three Irish river basins (Crookstown, Cork Digitized labeled points for ML supervised classification (all three years for all the three catchments) All ML-supervised classified land-cover images (all three years for all the three catchments) Classified land-cover images for the three catchments: Crookstown, Cork City, and Dodder for 2020, 2022, and 2024. The land-cover classes consist of 5 classes—1 (Agricultural), 2 (Forestry), 3 (Urban), 4 (Barren land), and 5 (Waterbodies). Influencing variables for land-cover simulation—a) spatial variables (road, building, urban and slope proximity layers) and b) socio-economic variables (total income and total population) Digitized ground control points for all the three catchments using same above classification and critical infrastructure locations in the catchments Classified, validated, and predicted final land-cover maps for the years 2024, 2026, 2028, and 2030 for all the catchments.
