Electronic data files for paper: Geothermal resource identification in Australia using shallow groundwater temperature data

This dataset contains the supporting data for the study "Geothermal resource identification in Australia using shallow groundwater temperature data". It includes: Electronic data File 1: Compiled subsurface groundwater temperature data (depth < 50 m) for the Perth Basin (WA) and Hunter Valley (NSW). Electronic data File 2: Long-term average surface air temperature data extracted for each groundwater data point. Electronic data File 3: Interpolated groundwater temperature grids (GeoTIFF format) for both study areas. Electronic data File 4: Interpolated temperature difference (ΔT) grids (GeoTIFF format) representing the shallow geothermal anomalies.
