The Cantonese Pronunciation Dictionary compiles words with distinctive dialectal pronunciations of Guangdong Cantonese. Each entry includes three components: the lexical item, its phonetic transcription and its tone. This dictionary can be used to provide Cantonese pronunciation references for audio recording staff, and support the research and development of speech recognition technologies, among other applications.
