Overview Financial situation School municipalities Canton Thurgau from 2018

The data sets contain figures on the financial position including selected financial indicators of the school communities in the canton of Thurgau. These serve as a basis for assessment of the respective state of health. The overview of the financial situation includes the number of pupils and residents, the tax burden, the equity situation as a tax fluctuation reserve and the central indicator in the form of the net debt of the respective year. Since schools integrated in the political community do not provide a clear cost allocation in all areas and there is no separate balance sheet, no financial figures or information on the balance sheet are reported for these entities. The data are based on the annual accounts of the Thurgauer Schulgemeinden as well as the cantonal financial compensation.In contrast to the data set Financial Key Figures Schulgemeinden Kanton Thurgau from 2018, this dataset contains only selected financial measures that serve to assess net debt and the equity situation. The dataset with the financial key figures contains all financial key figures as well as their basis for calculation. Since financial indicators cannot be calculated for the schools integrated into the political community, these 6 entities are not included in the data set.
