资源简介:
Copper nanoparticles are widely used in agricultural nanopesticides, raising concerns about their environmental persistence, transformation, and toxicity. Their release into aquatic environments threatens non-target organisms. This project examines the biodistribution and speciation of Kocide 3000® (K3), a Cu(OH)₂-based nanopesticide, compared to its non-nano equivalent, Kocide 2000® (K2), in soil, plants (tomato), aquatic organisms (amphibian larvae), and a mammalian model (mouse) to assess human and environmental health effects. Using ID21, we will map Cu distribution and speciation to determine its uptake, persistence, or transformation. This study is crucial to evaluating the risks of these formulations and will provide key data for regulatory decision-making within a One Health framework.
