Electron Backscatter Diffraction and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy maps from migmatitic aluminous schists located in the Wet Mountains, central Colorado

Abstract: In order to investigate how widespread partial melting is along subgrain boundaries in quartz, we collected combined Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) data from migmatitic aluminous schists in the Wet Mountains of central Colorado. We include five separate large area maps constructed on two different samples (WMDM108-1 and WMDM108-2) and two detailed maps. Each map includes EBSD data for quartz (.ctf files) and Na, K, Fe, and Al element maps (.csv files).
