QuakeSet is a seismic monitoring dataset developed by Daniele Rege Cambrin and Paolo Garza from the Polytechnic University of Turin. It comprises thousands of three-phase samples derived from over one hundred global seismic events, utilizing Sentinel-1 satellite data and ISC annotations. This dataset aims to facilitate seismic monitoring through a detailed, novel perspective, by providing time-series images of three phases to allow analysis of time-dependent changes. Its application scenarios include seismic detection, magnitude regression, hypocenter or epicenter regression, and change detection, among others. It is designed to address the limitations of traditional seismic monitoring methods in remote areas, enabling seismic monitoring with global coverage via satellite data.
