The goal of the project is to identify microprotein important to mitochondria metabolism. To this end, we performed a CRISPR Cas9 screen of 3 different cell lines (K562, A549 and 293FT) undergoing growth in either glucose rich or glucose depleted media (glucose depleted media was replaced with galactose) and harvested cells at different timepoint 7, 14 and 21 days.
