This dataset was developed from soil moisture transect surveys conducted between 2017 and 2021. A total of 239 soil samples were collected, and laboratory experiments were performed to measure and analyze the soil field capacity of each sample. The dataset includes the latitude, longitude, altitude, land use type, and soil mass water content of the sampling sites. There are 1440 data records in total, with a data size of 72 KB, and the dataset is fully open and publicly available.
