Simulation Script to Generate the Monthly Electricity Consumption with Exogenous Factors

This repository includes the simulation file related to the Data in Brief article entitled "Simulation of Electricity Consumption Data using Multiple Artificial Intelligence Models and Cross-Validation Techniques". The script is in the format of a Jupyter Notebook. This script is used to process the raw data of Electricity Consumption (Dubai Pulse) to generate an electricity consumption dataset at the community level of the city of Dubai. The script also includes exogenous factors. This script will be published as part of Data in Brief, where the original manuscript is published in [1]. The script consists of the following parts:
1- Accumulating the Consumption Records
2- Adding Exogenous Factors
3- Data Preprocessing
4- Feature Importance
