## Dataset Title
Bubble dynamics data for oscillating gas flow as inlet to a quasi(pseudo) 2D fluidized beds.
## Description
This dataset contains 35 comma-separated values (CSV) files, each representing a unique gas flow condition with a sinusoidal modulation around a specific mean operating velocity. The sinusoidal flow profiles use five amplitude values: 0.0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1.0.
For each amplitude, the mean gas flow velocities are set to seven discrete values: 12.8, 16.0, 19.2, 25.6, 32.0, 38.4, and 44.8 liters per minute (L/min). These values are selected as integer multiples of the experimentally determined minimum fluidization velocity, which is 12.8 L/min.
Each file is named using the following format:
VXX_AmpY.Y_umfZ.Z
Where:- VXX indicates the video number (e.g., V01 for video 1)- AmpY.Y refers to the amplitude of the sinusoidal flow modulation (e.g., Amp0.25 for 0.25 amplitude)- umfZ.Z represents the multiple of the minimum fluidization velocity used as the mean flow rate (e.g., umf2.0 means 2.0 × 12.8 L/min)
For example, the filename "V01_Amp0.0_umf1.0" refers to video 1, with an amplitude of 0.0 and a mean gas flow rate equal to 12.8 L/min.
The dataset is structured so that:- The first 7 videos represent the 7 mean velocities at an amplitude of 0.0- The next 7 videos correspond to the same 7 velocities at an amplitude of 0.25- This pattern continues through all five amplitude levels
This results in a total of 5 amplitudes × 7 velocities = 35 distinct flow conditions.
The table table below provides the valve settings and calculated operating velocities used to produce each oscillating gas flow profile.

Each recorded video captures one minute of operation of the fluidized bed, with a frame rate of 50 fps. The files are in CSV format. The data represented in each column is as follows:
1. video_name: Video data used to generate the numerical data 2. frame_number: Activity capture at a particular frame 3. time[sec]: Time of recording the activity in the bed 4. num_contours_per_frame: Number of bubbles detected for a particular frame 5. ID: Individual ID for each bubble at a frame 6. cx_pos[px]: Bubble position in x direction in pixels 7. cx_pos[m]: Bubble position in x direction in meters relative to the fluidized beds 8. cy_pos[px]: Bubble position in y direction in pixels 9. cy_pos[m]: Bubble position in y direction in meters relative to the fluidized beds10. size[px^2]: Bubble size in pixels11. size[m^2]: Bubble size in meters relative to the fluidized beds12. perimeter[px]: Bubble perimeter in pixels13. perimeter[m]: Bubble perimeter in meters relative to the fluidized beds14. approx_diameter[px]: Approximated diameter of bubble in pixels15. approx_diameter[m]: Approximated diameter of bubble in meters relative to the fluidized beds16. x_velocity[m/s]: Bubble velocity in x direction17. y_velcoity[m/s]: Bubble velocity in y direction 18: valve* : Last five columns represent individual valve velocities in L/min
