Language rights under the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum: questionnaire and legal comparison

This dataset makes the complete question-level analytical material supporting a legal assessment of language rights under the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum available alongside the concise findings used in the article. It combines a questionnaire first published in Illia Klinytskyi, Linguistic Rights of Beneficiaries of International Protection in the Multicentric System of Sources of Law of the Republic of Poland (2025; https://doi.org/10.31261/PN.4300), with a new EU-law comparison and a mapped selection of European case law. The book is the source for the questionnaire and its historical Polish answers; the Pact comparison and case-law assessments constitute the author’s new analysis. Codebook and method C1–C14: compulsory-education questions transcribed from Table 4.3 of the book. - A1–A9: administrative-language questions from Table 4.5 of the book.- S1–S6: social-programme questions from Table 4.5. The book reuses A1–A9 when discussing social-assistance administration.- P1–P6: author-developed procedural questions for examining language access in asylum and Pact procedures. They are not questions from the book.Orientation labels organise questions under "language as a problem", "language as a right", or "language as a resource" categories. For classification, the author uses an original heuristic framework developed by Richard Ruiz in Ruiz R., 1984, Orientations in Language Planning, "NABE Journal", nr 8(2), pp. 15–34.
