Molecular Profiling of Patients with Hyperthyroidism

Thyroid disease is the most common endocrine disorder worldwide. Hyperthyroidism is a constellation of toxic signs and symptoms due to excessive synthesis and release of thyroid hormone into the circulation, Graves Disease, Toxic multinodular Goiter, and Toxic adenoma are the important causes of Hyperthyroidism. To date, the incidence of Graves disease is increasing, and its etiology remains elusive. Genomic profiling will lead to better molecular understanding of the disease.
