Bone Screw Insertion and Stripping Test Data in Multiple PU Foam Materials

These data files contain data from a test rig bone screw insertion into polyurethane(PU) foam. Linear position, Rotation, and Torque are sampled at 1000 Hz. 10 Insertions each were done into 8 different PU foam materials from 2 different manufacturers. From Sika AG, the Sikablock-M80, -M150, -M330, -M450, and -M600 materials were tested; from SYNBONE AG, the 15, 20, and 30 PCF blocks of closed-cell PU foam were used. Each time series is started before the insertion, and continues during the insertion of the screw until fully tightened, and then until after the threads are stripped, then there is a short dwell period before the screw is reversed and removed. In some cases the stripped threads did not provide enough resistance to support the screw removal and the screw simply spun; in some of these cases manual assistance was applied to removed the screw during the data recording, this is not important for the use in the intended publication, and hence not carefully documented, but may be relevant for others who wish to use the data.
