Transcriptome analysis of oocyte under high fat diet feeding or high fat diet with acetic acid feeding

This data presents the effect of acetic acid feeding on the obesity-induced alternation of transcriptome in the oocytes. The oocytes were collected from Slc: SD rats which feed normal diet (ND), high fat diet (HFD) or high fat diet with acetic acid (HFD+V) for 7-11 weeks. Approximately 40 full grown germinal vesicle stage oocytes were used for a sample, and repeated as a total of 3 samples per each experimental group. The RNA was extracted using RNAqueous-Micro (Life Technologies, Carlsbad, CA, USA). The cDNA synthesis from RNA was prepared using the SMART Seq v4 Ultra® Low Input RNA Kit for Sequencing (Takara Bio USA Inc., San Jose, CA, USA). The libraries were constructed using Nextera XT DNA Library Prep kit (Illumina, San Diego, CA, USA). The sequence was performed in single-read 75-bp reads using the NextSeq 500 system (Illumina).
