Breast cancer is a malignant tumor originating from mammary gland epithelial tissues, and it is the most common malignancy threatening women’s health and lives. Due to its highly complex and diverse histological morphology and distinct biological behaviors, breast cancer presents certain challenges to its prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Breast cancer screening that achieves early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment is the key to reducing the population-level mortality rate of breast cancer and improving prognosis. Ultrasound screening and contrast-enhanced ultrasound are the primary methods for early diagnosis of breast cancer. The breast cancer ultrasound image analysis dataset plays a vital role in the early screening and research of breast cancer among women in China.
