TAS Sensor Web - Conformal Cubic Atmospheric Model (CCAM) simulations - 8km resolution - Tasmania

Ensemble of daily forecast made for Tasmania as part of the Tasmanian Hydro-Meteorological Sensor Web. Forecasts are initiated every 6 hours from the US NCEP GFS analyses and every 12 hours from the Canadian CMC analyses. Forecasts are based upon the Conformal Cubic Atmospheric Model, developed in CMAR. Forecasts are made at 60 km resolution over Southern Australia/Tasmania for 5 days, then 8 km resolution over Tasmania for 3 days and finally at 1 km resolution over the South Esk region for 3 days. A range of model options are also used to provide an ensemble of predictions. This dataset is the forecast for the 8 km resolution data covering Tasmania.
