Main Industrial Groups (MIGs)

The main industrial groups are formed on the basis of the purpose of products: intermediate consumer goods, energy, investment goods, long-term consumer goods, short-term consumer goods, by grouping economic activities in industry (sections B, C, D and E36 for KVED-2010). MIGs are used to calculate certain indicators, in particular, the index of industrial production for the MIG. Since 2014, the data on industrial production indices have been published for MIGs.
