Helicobacter pylori strain H443 was isolated from the gastric tissue of patients with chronic non-atrophic gastritis and exhibited persistent resistance to amoxicillin, with a minimum inhibitory concentration of less than 0.016mg/L. Whole genome of H443 was sequenced to understand the role of antibiotic persistence in the evolution of H. pylori resistance.
