Statistical foot shape-function model animations and figures (updated version)

Animations and figures of the first five principal components from a statistical shape-function model of young, healthy adult feet (n = 100). Animations are for shape variations while bearing full bodyweight (fBW) and deformation variations between minimal weight and full bodyweight bearing (mBW-fBW).

Figures are for the ankle, midtarsal (midtar), metatarsophalangeal (mtp), subtalar (subtal) and tarsometatarsal (tarmet) joints during level (L), uphill (U) and downhill (D) walking (W) and running (R). Only joints and conditions that displayed substantial changes in joint angle and moment time-series curves are shown. Upward pointing triangles indicates data perturbed by +3SD and downward pointing triangles by -3SD.
