Dataset for Identifying Patient Safety Segments Among Internship Doctors in Indonesia: A Mixed-Methods Study

This dataset supports the study titled "Beyond One-Size-Fits-All: Identifying Patient Safety Segments Among Internship Doctors Through Mixed-Methods Approach". The quantitative data were collected from 202 internship doctors assigned to 38 public and private hospitals across five major cities in West Java, Indonesia, during March 2025. The dataset includes responses to validated survey instruments measuring leadership support, psychological safety, safety knowledge, teamwork, error reporting intention, information exchange, physician self-leadership, and perceived patient safety. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and Prediction-Oriented Segmentation (PLS-POS) to identify distinct behavioral profiles. The dataset is intended for researchers interested in health workforce behavior, patient safety culture, and hospital-based segmentation analysis.
