Duhumbi and Khispi

Short description: These recordings present several stories that tell about the strained relationship between the Duhumbi people of Chug and the Khispi people of Lish. The animosity has a long history, and is becoming worse year by year, as Khispi, mainly from Gonpatse village, are rapidly encroaching in Duhumbi land. Many Khispi people have sold their own land to outsiders, and claiming the entire Chug valley to be theirs, expand their territory northwards along the Chug river.
