Transcriptome data of Thitarodes xiaojinensis larvae infected with entomopathogenic fungi
收藏资源简介:
Sixth-instar Thitarodes xiaojinensis larvae were infected with the blastospores of Ophiocordyceps sinensis (Os), Cordyceps militarist (Cm), or Beauveria bassiana (Bb). Larvae injected with Ringer’s buffer (RS, 8.05 g NaCl, 0.42 g KCl, and 0.18 g CaCl2 per liter) were used as the control. Each larva was injected with 2 µL of Ringer’s buffer or blastospore suspension in Ringer’s buffer (1.0 × 107 cells/mL) using glass capillaries. Each treatment included 12 larvae. According to the manufacturer’s instructions, total RNA from the fat body of control and fungus-infected larvae was extracted at 72 hpi using TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen, USA). RNA yields were quantified using a NanoDrop 2000 spectrophotometer. RNA integrity was confirmed using the RNA Nano 6000 Assay Kit of the Bioanalyzer 2100 system. A cDNA library was constructed using the total RNA and sequenced with 150 bp paired-end reads on an Illumina NovaSeq platform. Three biological replicates were used for each treatment.
