MedSea_climate_change_mesocosm Transcriptome. MedSea_climate_change_mesocosm

This is a mesocosm study performed in two pools, one heated and one maintained with real-time ambient temperatures. Six mesocosms were placed in each pool, 3 of which were not manipulated and 3 acidified with CO2 enriched water to reach pCO2 of approximately 800 ppm. The goal of the study was to assess changes in the metatranscriptomes of natural microbial populations from Mediterranean surface waters to climate change.
