The linear geodata identifies the canals and lakes used by the Broward County Water Management Division to drain stormwater and/or recharge groundwater. Most of the water bodies are part of Broward County dependent water control districts WCD 2, WCD 3, WCD 4 and Cocomar WCD. Canal segments are identified by name and ID number. The layers was created in 2021 and is subject to update at any time.
