Angiosperms mitochondral Assembly

In this study, we analyzed 41 mitochondrial protein-coding sequences (mtCDSs) for 481 species representing 355 families and 63 orders of angiosperms, sensu APG IV (2016), representing the largest sampling of angiosperm mitochondrial genes dataset to date. We aimed to: (1) reconstruct angiosperm phylogenetic relationships; (2) determine if there is conflict between the plastid and mitochondrial datasets; and (3) improve our understanding of the temporal evolution of angiosperms.
