LSE Peace and Internationalism collection - archive data

The images were taken during a short research period at the Library of the London School of Economics (LSE) , 2-5 September 2025. They offer a glimpse into the Peace and Internationalism Collection, capturing a few touches of the visual and material culture of peace activism. The items document the rhetoric, symbols and communicative strategies used by organisations such as the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) and provide a sample of the archival materials that will form the basis of a broader multimodal corpus.
