Study on the Extraction of Rare Earth Ions from Phosphate Acidolysis Solution by Modified Resin

Aiming at the problems of high impurity ion content, high acidity and low rare earth ion content in the acid solution of phosphate rock dissolved by nitric acid, this paper studied the direct separation and extraction of rare earth in the acid solution by resin adsorption method, and explored the effective way to couple rare earth extraction with phosphorus chemical industry. The modification of 732 cation exchange resin by modifier Z was studied. It was found that the adsorption rate of modified resin Z-732 to rare earth ions in acid solution was significantly improved. Without pre-treating the acidolysis solution, when the modified resin dosage is 1. 0 g, the adsorption time is 20 min, the temperature is maintained at room temperature, and the solution pH is 0. 8, the rare earth adsorption efficiency in the phosphoric acid decomposition solution of phosphate rock reaches 91. 74%. The experimental results showed that the modified resin Z-732 can preferentially adsorb trivalent metal ions such as rare earth and Fe3+ ions. This method can be applied to a strong acid environment rich in a large number of impurity ions.
