Digital Confidence versus Digital Competence: Assessing Generation Z's Ability to Evaluate Online Information and Detect Misinformation

Dataset and survey materials associated with the study "Digital Confidence versus Digital Competence: Assessing Generation Z's Ability to Evaluate Online Information and Detect Misinformation." The dataset contains anonymized responses collected through a custom web-based survey application developed using Google Firebase. Data were gathered through online distribution and snowball sampling facilitated by personalized shareable result cards. A total of 207 responses were collected, of which 147 valid Generation Z student responses were retained for analysis. The repository includes the cleaned dataset, questionnaire instrument, codebook, and supporting documentation used for statistical analysis in SPSS.
