This dataset contains the data for the article “Retractions and post-retraction citations in the COVID-19 infodemic: is Academia spreading misinformation?”.
This data was compiled based on a list from the Retraction Watch COVID-19 blog, which was compiled in June 2022. The exclusion criteria for data is more widely explained in a forthcoming publication,
