The data in this repository supports the conduct and findings of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for the environmental impacts of conventional vs digital fabrication workflows for the provision of a ceramic tooth crown.This report identifies the key environmental impacts in a comparison between the digital and conventional workflow for the fabrication of a lithium disilicate and zirconia dental crown. Additional sensitivity analyses are performed in this life cycle assessment to evaluate how changes in the inputs can affect the results of the model and how we can optimise these outcomes to mitigate the environmental impact in the dental healthcare sector.
