Salinity is a significant environmental threat that adversely affects plant growth and development. In order to increase a plant's resistance to adverse climatic conditions, agronomists have been exploring a variety of metabolic pathways and developing biostimulants. Our study shows treatment with novel formulated endophytic bacterial consortium in model crop Solanum lycopersicum under saline condition enhanced plant growth mitigating the effects of salt stress. Numerous potential genes involved in reinforcing salt resistance mechanism in plant system were investigated by transcriptome analysis (RNA-Seq) to assess the resilience of Solanum lycopersicum plants under salinity stress.
