ONT MinION Sequencing of Large-Scale Inverted Duplications

Evolved yeast strains (FY4 ancestor) with previously identified CNVs (10.1371/journal.pbio.3000069) were sequenced using Oxford-Nanopore Technologie's MinION sequencing platform. These CNVs are the result of the DNA replication based mechanism ODIRA (origin dependent inverted repeat amplification) and are large-scale inverted repeats.
