资源简介:
This dataset contains item-level coded data from a cross-sectional content analysis of 375 tuberculosis (TB) Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials disseminated in Gujarat, India, between January 2017 and August 2025.The corpus includes print, video, and audio materials retrieved from official government portals, state TB cell archives, and publicly accessible social media platforms. Each item was systematically coded using a 40-item structured checklist synthesised from established behaviour change and health communication frameworks (COM-B, Health Belief Model, Theory of Planned Behavior, Social Cognitive Theory, Transtheoretical Model, WHO COMBI, and the CDC Clear Communication Index). In addition, two global 5-point Likert-type ratings were assigned for (i) message clarity and (ii) cultural adaptation. Each row in the dataset represents a single IEC item, uniquely identified by an alphanumeric ID. Variables include media format, year, language, issuer, target audience, thematic focus, individual framework-based indicators, composite indices, and global rating scores. This dataset does not contain any personal, patient-level, or identifiable human data. All materials analysed were publicly available government-issued or publicly disseminated communication outputs. No copyrighted IEC images, logos, or creative materials are reproduced in this dataset; only derived analytical variables and aggregate coding outputs are shared. The dataset is intended to support reproducibility of the accompanying manuscript analyses and may be reused for secondary analyses of health communication quality, behavior change content, and public health messaging strategies in high-burden settings.
