Brassica napus purple leaf Transcriptome

In Brassica napus, purple leaf is a vital agricultural trait of significant economic importance. In order to identify candidate genes related to purple leaf traits, RNA Sequencing of leaves at the vegetative stage (six-leaf stage) and reproductive growth period (growth and development period) were performed from purple leaf and green leaf inbred lines both at Guiyang and Jinsha. In this project, some candidate genes that are conducive to purple leaf formation are focused on. These findings may laid the foundation for the next molecular study of the purple leaf in Brassica napus.
