资源简介:
This data collection contains all currently published nucleotide (DNA/RNA) and protein sequences from Australian dwelling organisms in the genus Aphanes, commonly known as Aphanes L.. Other information about this group: a genus in the rosaceae family, native to Europe, Asia and Australia. A study from 2003 indicates that aphanes may belong to the genus Alchemilla, commonly called ladys-mantle. They are slender, annual prostrate herbs, much-branched with deeply lobed leaves, pilose (covered with soft hair) and on short petioles the tiny green to yellow flowers without petals grow in clusters in the denticulate leaflike stipules. Examples include: aphanes arvensis - field parsley-piert, western ladys-mantle, parsley breakstone; aphanes Australiana - Australian piert; aphanes australis (syn a inexspectata, a microcarpa) - slender parsley-piert; aphanes occidentalis - dew cup/ladys mantel. The nucleotide (DNA/RNA) and protein sequences have been sourced through the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) and Universal Protein Resource (UniProt), databases that contains comprehensive sets of nucleotide (DNA/RNA) and protein sequences from all organisms that have been published by the International Research Community. The identification of species in Aphanes as Australian dwelling organisms has been achieved by accessing the Australian Plant Census (APC) or Australian Faunal Directory (AFD) through the Atlas of Living Australia.
