This report provides a summary of work undertaken on the West/North Burton Joint Venture (WBJV) EPC’s 682, 708 and 836 for the period 27 August 2019 to 26 August 2020. The WBJV EPC’s are located in the Bowen Basin approximately 35km north of the township of Moranbah and are divided into the West Burton Project and the North Burton Project. The West Burton Project includes EPC 682, EPC 708 and the southwestern portion of EPC 836. The North Burton Project consists of the remaining part of EPC 836 which lies some 20km to the north-east of the West Burton Project. The WBJV participants continue to advance the development of these projects as evidenced by the conversion of large parts of the West Burton EPC’s to MDL 3010 in 2017 and the recent application for MDL 3044 in the North Burton Project area.
Work completed in the reporting period included update of the Geological Model for the Glenden Project following acquisition of EPC 1764 from Samgris Resources Pty Ltd. The addition of resources extending into EPC 1764 has resulted in a revised JORC Resource Estimate of 97.5Mt defined within the Glenden Project which is located within the northern portion of EPC 836 and the eastern margin of EPC 1764.
