Ti6Al4V alloy is most widely used titanium alloys. It is wellknown that intergranular (GB) and interphase boundaries (IPB) affect mechanical properties and kinetics of their evolution in multiphase alloys. This is especially true for small grain sizes and/or high temperatures. However, data on the surface tension of GB and IPB in Ti6Al4V alloy are very scarce.
