Rage against the machine Open data set

This article talks about how we used technology to help students learn English online at a university in Spain. We tried two things: one where students practiced speaking using a computer program that listens and helps with pronunciation, and another where they used a tool that translates their writing but they have to think about if it's right or not. Students liked both activities. Most of them said the tools were helpful and that they felt less scared to speak English. They also liked that the translation tool helped them fix mistakes in their writing. But they also noticed that the speaking exercise wasn't perfect and that the translations weren't always right. We talked about how these tools can help students learn on their own and improve their English skills.
