Bulk RNAseq expression data of colon biopsies from OXTR deficient mice

Inflammatory bowel disease is increasing worldwide and can lead to colitis-associated cancer. Fucosylation is a conjugation reaction that is essential for mucin protection against colitis. We have shown that the hypothalamus hypophysis hormone oxytocin alleviates experimental colitis. Here we determined whether and how OXTR plays a role in colitis associated cancer and colitis. Intestinal-specific OXTR knockout mice were created by cross fertilized with villin cre mice. mice subjected with dextran sodium sulfate to induced colitis. We have collected intestinal epithelium for RNA seq sequencing and uncovered an important role of OXTR in colitis associated cancer and colitis.Our findings provide valuable insights into a novel diagnostic indicator for CAC and colitis, contributing to a better understanding and management of these conditions.
