This series is comprised of correspondence files from the Urana Shire Council, arranged by subject and chronologically. The files include letters sent out by the Urana Shire Council to members of the community and letters and information received by the Council. The subjects of the files include the Murray Regional Advisory Council, the Murray Valley Development League, the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Australia in 1954, immigration to the Urana Shire, closer settlement schemes in the Urana Shire area, boundary changes, and the Royal Commission on Local Government Finance and Land Valuation.
