资源简介:
In 1915, the Government of Spain approved the “Plan de Riegos del Alto Aragón”. To this day, more than 1350 km2 are irrigated, according to the water users' organization “Comunidad General de Riegos del Alto Aragón”, whose web page is http://www.riegosaltoaragon.es. The Monegros Canal is key for water conduction from the Pyrenees. Its Fourth Section, “Cuarto Tramo” in Spanish, started its service in 1986. Eleven years earlier, the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture hired the consulting firm ILACO (International Land Development Consultants Ltd.) to conduct a study on the land suitability for irrigation with water from this section, producing a Report in Spanish dated September 1975. The materials here presented are: (i) the folder "Newspaper clippings.01", which contains press clippings from 1985 to 1988 showing the social demand for irrigation; (ii) the folder "Planos", which store the original plans of the Report; (iii) two pdf files, one for the Report Memory “1975 Cuarto tramo Mone. I Memoria.pdf”, and other for the Report Annexes “1975 Cuarto tramo Mone. I Anejos.pdf”; (iv) a ZIP file containing the geospatial raster files corresponding to the four georeferenced plans, provided in UTM coordinates and the ETRS89 reference system, suitable for visualization and analysis within a Geographic Information System (GIS); (v) a ZIP file containing the non‑geospatial raster images (PNG format) corresponding to the four plans, intended for visualization outside a GIS environment; (vi) an Excel file containing selected sets of relevant analytical data for waters and soils, manually transcribed from the Report’s Annexes.
