antibiotic resistance profile of resistant isolates from clinical source

We’ve uploaded all the raw data from our latest study, which dives deep into the genomic makeup of some tough, multidrug-resistant bacteria from Anhui Province, China, like <i>Escherichia coli</i><i>, </i><i>Klebsiella pneumoniae</i>, and <i>Serratia marcescens</i>. For instance, we found an <i>E. coli</i> strain (EC385) packed with 2343 resistance and virulence traits, carrying five plasmids and a unique mix of genes like <i>mcr1.1</i> and several bla variants, a combo never seen before. Then there’s <i>K. pneumoniae </i>strains like KP304 and KP69, loaded with plasmids and genes driving resistance to drugs like ciprofloxacin. And here’s a wild twist: we caught <i>S. marcescens</i> carrying <i>bla</i>_KPC genes for the first time ever, along with some hefty plasmids. It’s a stark reminder of how fast these resistance tricks are spreading, and why we’ve got to keep a close eye on them.
