VPRS 19123 Dietitian Training and Graduation Records

This series comprises records of the training and graduations of dietitians at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) (VA 1048). Training of dietitians commenced at the RMH in late 1929. Initially only qualified nurses were able to undertake the six-month certificate training program, with trainees also accepted from other hospitals. The records contain student name, address, date of commencement, date of receipt of certificate, previous qualifications, departments attended, lectures attended, projects undertaken, and results of examinations. Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Archives
