Data from a Test Pit Evaluation at Abingdon Abbey Buildings, Abingdon-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, July 2024

This collection consists of images, site records, reports, Harris matrices, spreadsheets, GIS and 3D data from a test pit evaluation on the site of a group of buildings known as Abingdon Abbey Buildings, Abingdon-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. The works were commissioned by Friends of Abingdon Abbey Buildings to Oxford Archaeology, to inform a proposed enhancement project to create an accessible community centre for the visual and performing arts. The work comprised the excavation of six trenches and took place between the 8th and 19th July 2024.
